The Research Center for Korean Community at Queens College created the Korean American Data Bank in 2012 to facilitate dissemination of data and information about Korean-American and other overseas Korean populations for researchers, proposal writers in the Korean community in the United States, and policymakers in the United States and Korea. We regularly update and replace data and information every month. Additionally, we provide short and timely data sets, such as preliminary census data on the Korean American population by major metropolitan areas. The data bank includes five main categories of data and information: (1) Statistical Reports, (2) References, (3) Paper and Book Chapters, (4) Qualitative Data, and (5) Community Data.
